Spinning Star Singles

Making a ton of half square triangles?  Spinning Star Singles can help!
Make eight half square triangles at once!  Simply layer two 6 inch squares of fabric right sides together and pin a star single on top and sew following the arrows, cut apart and tear off the paper!  Easy as 1 2 3 !
I make a stack of these whenever I need to use up fabric and I have an extra  rotary cutter specifically for using with paper so I don't use the one for fabric cutting,  Comes in pretty handy especially when you are making 120 of them!
Comes in different sizes too, so pick the one size you need, I basically use the 2" finished alot.

Always Quilting,

Teresa

  1. Great idea Teresa. I always look for ways to use my scrap fabrics. Wasting fabric just something I hate to do :)
