Pockets with a Purpose
Since my phone and tablet are my cash register, mail, photo album and order pad, I am in constant need of my charger. So when I kept misplacing the charger I decided that Pam Buda's prairie pocket we made for a shop sample was the perfect place to keep it handy! It's an historic reproduction with a modern purpose! It can hold a little sewing kit as a gift for a friend, extra binding, you name it, this is the small pocket so the large pocket can hold even more !( Not to mention the patterns themselves on display in the shop !) Endless possiblities... what will you keep in your pocket?

Antique & Vintage Quilt Tops
Quilting Old or Vintage Quilt tops can be challenging but with a few things to pay close attention to the end result is really quite rewarding. You really must aquire some patience when working with these vintage beauties, first and foremost you have to give alot of consideration to the fact that most times the quilt top is not square, and seams are not consistant through out, repairs have to be made and probably the quilt top needs to be cleaned. Remember your not working with a quilt that has new fabric! Each step is a process and alot of problems sometimes need to be solved before you can dive right in and start quilting. And no two are the same or will have the same problems to solve,. I love working with Old Quilts, they always have a story to tell and you sometimes you won't know it's secrets until you are working with it up close. I have learned to take my time and enjoy the process !

Latest and Greatest !
Was just reading all about Tulip Hiroshima Needles, they sound wonderful, so I ordered some and waiting for their arrival. I have not tried them and since I don't put anything up on the site for sale until I have tried them myself, so I thought I would ask if anyone uses them or has tried them? Tell me what you think? I would love to hear what needles you use and what size and post a little review here. Many Thanks! Always Quilting, Teresa
